TRIBE OF JUDAH

Our Purpose: The Tribe of Judah is our men's ministry whose purpose is to help men learn to walk in the purpose, authority andprosperity as spoken by God before he created man (Genesis 1:26).   Man's problem stems from his disobedience to the first command of God, and God's punishment that calls for him to toil in labor and sweat just to survive (Genesis 3:17-19).

For that reason, we began the Tribe of Judah Men’s networking ministry and embraced the exciting challenge of developing men into Kings and Priest (Revelation 5:10).  The Bible says "iron sharpens iron" (Proverbs 27:17) and when men get together, something explosive is released in the spiritual world (Matthew 18:19).

So, we provide plenty of opportunities for men to work together to develop their full leadership potential.  We have quarterly tribe meetings, Tribal Encounter Retreats, small-group meetings we call Man-Talk, Discovery classes, and weekly mentoring relationships with young men called The Young Lions. On top of all this, we have fun!  We pray, serve, and enjoy the Lord together, but we also play together.  tribesmen regularly come together to enjoy sports and other events that men love, like basketball, golf, softball, fishing—and of course, eating!

Our Goal: To teach men how to be godly leaders, husbands, and fathers in a world that is desperate for genuine leadership.  We have quarterly messages at our men's network meetings that focus on topics such as prayer, holiness, finances, temptation, and integrity.  Men's lives are changed and restored while vision and purpose are instilled. To prepare men to be disciples and leaders who influence their world we ask the men of the Tribe of Judah to make 7 commitments.

7 Commitments: To enjoy the blessing of God, walk in kingdom authority and fulfill the purpose of God, men are ask to make 7 commitments they are,

1. Commitment to God.
2. Commitment to the Word of God.
3. Commitment to their family.
4. Commitment to their church.
5. Commitment to personal development.
6. Commitment to excellence.
7. Commitment to accountability

We believe that by making a keeping these 7 commitments men will discover the strength of and value of men who have committed themselves to being brothers in Christ.
