WORD WARRIORS

Is our ministry that teaches our members how to use God's Word in their life on a daily basis.  The Bible is not just a history or doctrinal book, it is a library for living and enjoying life.  Just think of having the answer to any question you might be asked, the solution to any problem you may face...you would be unstoppable, you would always come out on top -- you would never fear losing because you would be guaranteed to win.  That's why the Lord gave us his word (Joshua 1:8, Job 36:11, Proverbs 4:11, II Timothy 3:16).

From plays to special events, the Word Warriors goal is to make learning about Christ, doctrine, church and biblial history fun.


None of this happens if we stay ignorant to the Word. So we keep a busy curriculum for adults and young people.

ADULTS

          

YOUTH

For some adults the daily grind of living keeps them too busy. Their weekday is filled with commitments to take the children to events, dual shifts, continuing education their never appears to be enough time to go to a mid-week bible study.

The Word Warriors is a combination evening worship service, bible study held on Sunday evenings.  Their goal is to,

  • Teach adults to apply the Word of God to real-world scenarios.
  • Allow our members unable to attend weekday or Sunday morning services and opportunity to fellowship.
  • Learn how to walk in the blessing.
 

For youth our Word Warriors curriculum includes,

  • Applying the Word of God to current affairs.
  • Sexual abstinence training.
  • Panel discussions.
  • Life skills development.
  • Competitions.
  • College preparation.
  • Career development.

As our youth participate in the Word Warriors activities they will gain tools that will help them to successfully overcome negative peer pressure as they mature into adults.
